First, with the fishing licence (obtainable from the nearby bar or fishing shop) fishing in the River Bandiat is possible locally. The river is stocked regularly with rainbow trout, and there are also tench, roach, carp and pike. Secondly, the licence permits fishing anywhere in the Dordogne department on categorised rivers (i.e. not on private waters and lakes) |

Finally, apart from the
many rivers and streams in the area, there is fishing available
on a daily licence basis at the public lakes of St Estephe and
St Saud, and at a number of other private lakes, by arrangement.
